I am currently employed at Upside Foods, a global leader in the sustainable cultured meat industry. Based at the Engineering, Production, and Innovation Center (EPIC) in Emeryville, CA, I am part of the team transitioning EPIC from a pilot plant to a full-scale commercial production facility. During my tenure at Upside, I have collaborated extensively with teams across Cell Development, Process Development, Manufacturing Science and Technology, and Process Engineering, gaining invaluable insights and contributing to groundbreaking advancements in this field.

Actively transitioning operations from a pilot plant to a full commercial production facility, integrating advanced technologies to ensure efficiency and maintain operational excellence.
In 2023, facilitated three technology transfers from Process Development (PD) and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) to Large-Scale Systems (LSS), and am currently aiding the expansion of our tissue process to large-scale operations.
Leading the operational and performance qualifications for LSS equipment to meet stringent industry standards.
Developing and overseeing the production of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records (BRs), and work instructions essential for LSS production.
